From Philadelphia, Mississippi, to the heart of Manhattan! 🎸✨

Marty Stuart isn’t just a country musician; he’s a living bridge to the legends. A prodigy who started touring at 13 with Lester Flatt and later joined Johnny Cash’s band, Marty has spent his life protecting the “sparkle and twang” of the genre.

Whether he’s building his Congress of Country Music back in Neshoba County or shredding on his legendary “Clarence” guitar, Marty and the boys always deliver a masterclass in musicianship.

We still remember that incredible energy at the 2014 Mississippi Picnic in the Park, where he brought a piece of our home state to the Big City. Now, he’s coming back to NYC to show us how it’s done! If you missed that magic (or just need another dose of it), here is your chance to see the masters at work.

Mississippi in the Park is looking for a homegrown design that captures the spirit of Mississippi pride and community. Whether you paint it, draw it, or design it digitally, let your creativity shine (no AI, just your imagination).
